At the end of the second year, doctoral candidates will leave the lab and study for one week alone and in groups, basics and fundamental concepts in biochemistry, cell biology and chemistry. RTG-PIs will discuss the precise format with the doctoral candidates and guide them with suggestions for literature. Moreover, we will organize afternoon meetings during this week so that the doctoral candidates can discuss their progress.
